Celebrating Volunteers at Norwich Cathedral

The Norfolk Reading Project is taking part in an event on June 10th to celebrate the work of volunteers throughout Norfolk.

Celebrating Volunteers Day

10 June 2018
12:15 - 15:30
Cloisters
Come and celebrate the incredible, wonderful and amazing work of local volunteers!

We'll be joined in the Cathedral Cloisters by over FIFTY local causes. From musical groups and animal sanctuaries to homeless services, housing trusts and the Norfolk Reading Project.

You'll have the chance to speak with lots of friendly people from the charities to find out about their work and, who knows, you might even feel inspired to start volunteering yourself!

The event will be officially opened by the Lord Major of Norwich and also features entertainment from barbershop group Fine City Chorus. Meanwhile there will be garden games to enjoy on the Cloister Garth, so here's hoping for some beautiful weather!

We hope you will be able to pop along, join in with the celebration and find out more about volunteering in our county.
